Conviviality is the top priority in this area, much to the delight of the families with children who receive extra attention on the Hochkönig. It is certainly quiet here, even in the evening. There are a few nice, modest après-ski venues. In Mühlbach there is a nice restaurant, which serves many local specialities. The summit of Schneeberg (1921 m) is the heart of the Mühlbach ski area. However, the Schneeberg cannot be compared with the Hochkönig, which dominates the whole landscape. This majestic rock massif is really at a lonely height and protrudes with its 2941 m high crown more than a kilometre above the Schneeberg.
